VT Part 2
One more thing: is it just me or was it disingenuous for Bush to rush over to VT and make a speech regretting the untimely death of so many people. This is the man who has never, ever, properly eulogized any of the military people who have died in his war in Iraq. He refuses to attend funerals. He refuses to get involved in anything that may attract our attention to the ongoing tragedy of the death and mayhem his policies and his war have wrought both on the families and communities of our soldiers, but on those of Iraq itself. He can find time to turn up in Blacksburg, but he ignores Iraq. How gutless is that?
The day of the VT killings 150 Iraqis died in a variety of attacks. April has seen a sharp increase in American casualties in the Bush war.
We must keep our priorities right because Bush has his all wrong. Let us not forget.
Support the troops by bringing them home.
