Study Says we’re Losing

Bush finally released the much discussed and leaked National Intelligence Estimate, along with a statement saying that it supports his contention that America is winning the war on terror. He also said that he’s shocked that a document could be leaked for political gain [he’s certainly never done that … right?]. The main point is the so-called Rumsfeld test: are we removing more terrorists than are being created by our actions?

The trouble for Bush is that the report answers a resounding “no”.

So we’re losing.
