Homeland Security Money to NYC

The annual grant of cash to New York City and to Washington DC has been cut 40% from last year. The New York Times has the story here: Homeland Security Grants to N.Y. and Washington Slashed

This has to be a joke right? The Homeland Security Department apparently has “refined” its analysis of risks and decided that Omaha needs a huge increase, while NYC can get along with a dramatic decline in money. I can only assume that all that eavesdropping and spying led to some top secret information that no one can mention or even talk about being [maybe] surfaced [possibly] that led [or may not have led] to this decision.

What a sick joke!
