Cheney to Testify?

The slow and methodical prosecution of Scooter Libby for the alleged leaking of Valerie Plame’s name is gradually ensnaring the big boys. Already rumors are flying that Karl Rove is about to be indicted, and now the prosecution states that it has not ruled out the possibility that it will involve Dick Cheney as a witness. This story is going to drag along for a while, and will continue to cast a dark shadow over the White House. As it should. George Bush long ago said he would get rid of anyone involved in covering up the leak, but he has never acted, presumably because it involves people so close to him.

Now that’s a surprise: Bush not doing what he says he’d do.
